It's three decades since the violent murder of rapper Tupac Shakur on 13th September 1996 in Las Vegas.
It seems clear that he was deliberately placed within the culture at the time he was in order to fulfil a role. He was quite literally an actor. But what was the overall purpose of his role? And was he taken out when he had outlived his usefulness?
