Mark Devlin is a UK-based club and radio DJ and music journalist. In more recent years he has begun speaking about the dark forces that have been manipulating the music industry for decades. This led to the publication of the three books in his 'Musical Truth' series with a fourth due in 2025. JOYCE SIMS: ALL AND ALL
A memory of this absolute belter that will always stay with me is dropping it at my one and only Southport Weekender set, about 6.30 in the morning as the sun was coming up. It revived a tired, flagging dancefloor beautifully. Merging the electro hip-hop style with 80s groove soulful vocals, and produced by Kurtis Mantronik, this remains an energy-fuelled floor filler to this day. Shame there was no official video, hence this rather boring shot of a record label. But boy, what a tune.
