We begin with Kev recounting his background as an (unwitting) psychic medium, and how his life has ended up taking an entirely different path to the one he’d planned - a phenomenon which will be familiar to many. The maxim ‘Man plans while God Laughs’ didn’t come about for nothing!
Ant relates some of the unexpected turns in his life also, including losing the pub business he had built up as a result of the Convid scam in 2021.
Is there a higher power guiding the lives of many of us in accordance with a bigger plan, and could this by why the plans we make for ourselves so often don’t go the way we’d anticipated?
This is the first of two parts. In part two, which will drop next week, we get into the issues of stress, anxiety and mental health disorders in these times. We consider why men in particular find it difficult to open up about such experiences, and discuss some coping mechanisms and solutions for all.
