VIDEO: PTP/ STEVE GRANT/ ALAIS CLAY: TIME FOR A CHANGE

The awesome new video from PTP/ Vinnie Straub featuring Steve Grant and Alais Clay is here. Three of the strongest conscious hip-hop MCs all together one empowering track! Be sure to support REAL music.

Big props to Derrick Broze, Kirsti Snyder and Bruce Baumann for the filming. And I’m happy to have made my first music video cameo on the section shot in the parking lot at the back of the recent Free Your Mind Conference! (Shout also to Bill Church, getting his own square!)

K-RINO: T-RASH SKIT (HILARIOUS!)

This is just TOO hilarious! And the most insane thing of all is that the pisstake section at the end sounds EXACTLY like most ‘hip-hop’ now peddled in all seriousness by the likes of Westwood on Capital Xtra and many of the DJs on 1Xtra!

UPCOMING DJ DATES - MONTENEGRO/ TENERIFE/ IBIZA

It was the plan to get back to a bit more DJing this year in between writing the next book, in which regard, I'm greatly looking forward to these three upcoming jaunts.

THE SOUND OF NOW. PLAYLIST & LISTEN AGAIN LINKS FOR 15/4/17

The Soundcloud Stasi have informed me I’ve been a naughty boy by uploading audio for which I apparently need copyright authorisation, (even though my files help promote the music in question to wider audiences,) and have disabled downloads from any of my new files to jolly well teach me a lesson. Therefore, I’ve had to make downloads available via external sites, the links for which are in the text. Oh, good, more work each week. Lucky me!

FULL VIDEO: LAUREL CANYON/ L.A. ROAD TRIP

Here's the video compilation of my road trip to Laurel Canyon and various other LA neighbourhoods this week alongside Greg Carlwood of The Higherside Chats. Props to Greg and Teresa for a great job with the filming/ editing, and Shentale for all the driving.

CORRECTION

I mistakenly state in the video that Lady Gaga had recently bought The Log Cabin, Frank Zappa’s former Laurel Canyon home. I’ve since realised that she did in fact, purchase Zappa’s later home, also in the Canyon, but entirely separate from the Log Cabin. Apologies for this error.
