30 YEARS OF ACID HOUSE, A 4-HOUR MIX BY MARK DEVLIN, ON DESTINY 105, SATURDAY 30TH DECEMBER 2017

It’s now 30 years since the establishment of the Acid House scene in the UK, a movement that changed the face of dance music and culture generally from that point on. I’m resisting the temptation towards any social commentary on this one, instead letting the music do the talking with a four-hour mix of some of the most influential records of those heady and captivating days of 1987 and ’88.

Listen to "30 Years of Acid House on Destiny 105, 30/12/17 - complete 4-hour mix" on Spreaker.

NEW YEAR'S EVE 2016 - FOUR HOURS OF SOULFUL, UPLIFTING HOUSE ON DESTINY 105

A year ago today I had a blast, delivering four hours of soulful, uplifting house and some disco revivals on the radio - very much an homage to Danny Rampling’s wonderful Love Groove Dance Party back in the day. It’s one of the finest shows I’ve done, in my opinion. Here it is again.

Tonight, I’ll be dropping a garage selection for the big NYE bash at Cameo in Bournemouth alongside the likes of Pied Piper, Wideboys and many, many others.

MUSICAL TRUTH VOL. 2 - SOON COME

It’s an exciting day for an author when that first proof copy of a new book arrives! Musical Truth 2 isn’t as much of a doorstop as Volume 1, but still packs a fairly substantial 120,000 words. It should be fully available in printed and Kindle versions in about another three weeks.

INFINITE FRINGE SHOW PODCAST

The full podcast version of the chat I had with Billy Ray Valentine and Josh Corey on their excellent Infinite Fringe show, about the spiritual degradation of hip-hop culture and other elephants in the room.

AUDIO: MARK DEVLIN GUESTS ON THE INFINITE FRINGE RADIO SHOW

I guested on The Infinite Fringe on Truth Frequency Radio this weekend, alongside Billy Ray Valentine and co-host Josh.

Our talk focused specifically on hip-hop culture, and the systematic debasement of that whole scene, with so many aspects of social engineering now prevalent in its ranks. In many ways, hip-hop can be seen to have been a testing ground for various aspects of culture creation which are now being rolled out throughout society.

We also spend time on the whole situation with Afrika Bambaataa and the sexual abuse allegations against him, which have raised a bunch of uncomfortable questions about the very foundation of the culture that very few seem willing to discuss.

You can stream an edited version of the interview o the link below. The full version will be coming via the Infinite Fringe podcast soon.

GOOD VIBRATIONS PODCAST, VOL. 118: ISAAC WEISHAUPT: HIP-HOP’S ELEPHANTS IN THE ROOM

Listen to "GVP#118 - Isaac Weishaupt - Hip-Hop's Elephants in the Room" on Spreaker.

Returning to the series is the proprietor of illuminatiwatcher.com, researcher, author and broadcaster Issac Weishaupt.

We get into many of the social engineering agendas currently being rolled out in the contemporary hip-hop genre. Those who aren’t fans of this music, (and, given its current, degraded state, who can blame them,) shouldn’t switch off, however, because this scene stands as a contemporary microcosm of what’s being applied to society generally, all with the intention of coercing the masses into adopting certain mindsets, and steering culture off into pre-planned directions.

By blindly acquiescing, we give the controllers exactly what they want; by thinking for ourselves and asserting our free will, we cause them major setbacks.

We cover the many Elephants in the Room when it comes to this genre - things that should be obvious causes for concern, but which aren’t talked about because of the way the hive mind has been entrained.

These include the homosexualisation of hip-hop, its place within the systematic transgender agenda, its embracing of Transhumanism and occult themes, the death of Mobb Deep frontman Prodigy earlier this year, the recent erratic behaviours of Kanye West, and the sexual abuse allegations towards one of the culture’s pioneering founders, Afrika Bambaataa. Why the blanket of silence when it comes to media coverage of this important subject?

25 years ago this month, I picked up an independent Radio Advertising Award alongside Stuart Cameron of Fox FM, for the attached promo that I’d produced. I recall attending the dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel and going up on stage very pissed on champagne.
Feels like a different lifetime now.

POETIC JUSTICE, LONDON, THIS SATURDAY

The Poetic Justice event in London happens this Saturday, another showcase of conscious poets, wordsmiths and rappers delivering their lyrical wisdom. I’ll be dropping a conscious music DJ set to kick off the proceedings. Always a great session, and this will be the last one at the current home of Hive in Dalston before the event moves elsewhere. Props to The People's Floet, aka John Blake for organising.

GOOD VIBRATIONS PODCAST, VOL. 117: JOHN POTASH - THE WEAPONISATION OF DRUGS

Guesting this episode is investigative writer John Potash, author of the books ‘The FBI War on Tupac Shakur and Black Leaders’ and the more recent ‘Drugs as Weapons Against Us.’ John draws on research collated for these books to discuss how drugs have been used to shape sub-cultures and subvert activist scenes, always at the hands of government agencies such as the CIA and FBI.

Additionally John’s work has documented how certain maverick musicians have fallen foul of the control agencies over the decades, and drugs have often been used to either bring them back to conformity. or in extreme cases, knock them off. Examples discussed include Tupac, Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones, John Lennon and George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. We get into Courtney Love and her role in ensuring that both the Grunge and UK rock scenes became flooded with heroin.

Every culture-shifting scene over the decades has had its own drug of choice - from LSD in the 60s counter-culture, through to the MDMA of the rave scene, and the fingerprints of the intel agencies are never far from the surface.

GOOD VIBRATIONS PODCAST, VOL. 116: CATHI MORGAN - UK MK-ULTRA

The nefarious aspects of MK-Ultra at the hands of the CIA have been well documented. But far less talked-about is the UK arm of this far-reaching programme of mind control and mass social monitoring.

Guesting to fill in some gaps is Cathi Morgan, a veteran hippie and festival-goer, who suspects she may have been subject to some early programming herself. More recently, she has turned to researching possible links between the UK's free party scene and LSD, population control, and surveillance at the hands of agencies like MI6 and the Tavistock Institute.

Listen to "Good Vibrations podcast, Vol. 116. Cathi Morgan - UK MK-Ultra" on Spreaker.
