SOUL CITY IBIZA - MORE SUMMER MADNESS

Underway with another full-on season at Soul City in Ibiza. Looking forward to spinning there myself on 9th and 10th July.

For any Black Sheep heads who happen to be headed to Ibiza this Summer, a visit to Soul City, the island's original party spot for R&B, hip-hop and everything in between, remains essential. Now 20 years deep,  Soul City continues to provide a lively alternative to the house and trance music dominating the rest of the island. This year, original resident DJ Horse is back alongside guests to keep things jumping seven nights a week.
The team spin a wild and varied mash-up covering hip-hop, R&B, soul, funk, ragga, garage, drum 'n' bass, reggae dancehall, and more recently, bassline and UK Funky. As you might expect, it's immensely popular with holidaying Brits, not only because of its fresh and open-minded music policy, but because even in these cash-strapped times it remains free to get in!
As Soul City's popularity has increased, it's attracted some competition from other operators. The last few seasons have shown the venue can more than hold its own, however, maintaining a strong crowd presence every night of the week.
Soul City is located in San Antonio's West End/. Further info available here.
