Mark Devlin is a UK-based club and radio DJ and music journalist, specialising in R&B, hip hop, reggae, soul, funk, disco, soulful house ... and black music pretty much in any other form. Since 1990 he has been producing and presenting radio shows, DJ-ing in clubs all over the world, producing mix tapes and CDs, and contributing to market-leading music magazines. He’s also just written his first book!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO AKILAH
So now it's a big happy birthday to Akilah - one year old today! Zaina got Stevie Wonder the other week, so this one's dedicated to Akilah. (Altered Images were one of the great pop bands of the early 80s, and singer Clare Grogan was a real cutie!)
